ARCANO has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at the following address: protecciondedatos@arcanopartners.com.

2. MOTIVATION

ARCANO respects the privacy rights of its Users and recognises the importance of protecting the personal data that ARCANO collects about its Users.

The purpose of this document is to inform Users of the website about the processing of personal data carried out on this website.

3. DATA COLLECTED

In general, ARCANO collects data from Website Users in two ways:

  • IP address. The IP address is a code that identifies the User's Internet connection at a specific point in time. Only the User's Internet access provider can identify the subscriber who was assigned an IP address at a particular time.

By the very nature of the server that supports this website, the User's IP address is automatically recorded along with the date and time of access.

  • Cookies and similar. These are files that are downloaded to the User's browser and can be subsequently read by the website. In this way, cookies allow various functionalities, such as, for example, recognising a User who has already accessed the website previously and being able to carry out analyses on the use of the website in order to improve it.

However, it is not possible to find out the identity of the User with this data, unless the User provides additional information by other means and these can be linked to their IP address or to the cookies they have downloaded.

4. PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

This data is used solely to manage the normal use of the website and to carry out statistical analyses on the use of the website.

5. LEGAL BASIS

The processing of the IP address is technically necessary to enable connection to the website via the Internet.

The processing of data derived from the use of cookies is carried out in accordance with the consent given by the User when accessing the website for those cookies that so require.

6. RECIPIENTS OF THE INFORMATION

ARCANO does not provide this information to any third party, unless obliged to do so by current legislation (for example, an official request within the framework of a police investigation) or in the case of suppliers who provide services to ARCANO for the maintenance and management of this website.

7. DATA PROCESSING OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION

The information obtained through cookies may be stored on the servers of companies located outside the European Economic Area, therefore, your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. However, we inform you that these entities provide adequate data protection guarantees by adhering to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework which declares an adequate level of protection by the European Commission or by signing the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

By consenting to the use of these cookies, the user also consents to the international transfer to Google in the United States, as described in the Cookie Policy.

8. STORAGE PERIOD

IP addresses will be kept for a period of 1 month.

Cookie information will be kept for a maximum period of 2 years.

9. RIGHTS

Data protection regulations guarantee Users the following rights:

  • Access: Allows the User to know what information is held, where it has been obtained from, to whom it has been provided and for what purposes it has been processed.
  • Rectification:: Allows the User to rectify any erroneous or out-of-date data.
  • Deletion: Allows the User to ensure that their data is no longer processed.
  • Opposition: Allows the User to stop the use of their data for a specific purpose.
  • Limitation: Allows the User to restrict the processing of their data, but in such a way that they are kept for a subsequent purpose.
  • Portability: Allows the User to obtain a copy of his/her data in electronic format and, in certain circumstances, to request that it be communicated to another service provider. It is only applicable to computerised processing carried out with the consent of the User or for the fulfilment of a contract.
  • Revocation of consent: Allows the User to withdraw the consent that, where applicable, has been given for the processing of his/her data.

However, in order to exercise these rights, it is necessary to be able to link the data processed by ARCANO to the identity of the User requesting them.

In principle, ARCANO cannot establish this link with any of the data it processes, unless the User can provide certain documentation allowing identification (for example, a certificate from his or her Internet access provider indicating the IP address assigned to the User on a specific date and time).

Users are informed that they can exercise the aforementioned rights before ARCANO, as well as revoke their consent for the treatments that they have given, by e-mail to protecciondedatos@arcanopartners.com

If Users require further information or consider that their right to data protection has been violated, they may contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or ARCANO's Data Protection Delegate: protecciondedatos@arcanopartners.com.
